AC Hotel Vancouver Waterfront

“He/she who designs hotel rooms should be required to live in them for three days before the build-out” I was very impressed by the open/integrated lobby floor. A great design. All staff contacts were extremely positive. Someone has done a good job of hiring. Our room was very well designed for the most part. The bathroom lighting was fabulous; easy to do make-up/shave. And details like the foot bar in the shower reflect good design on someone’s part. But why would you decide to have “reading Lights” that were brighter that the spots at the New York Metropolitan Opera House? Something much smaller/less bright would be more appropriate. And given that the river view is the raison d’etre to pay extra for the room, why would you select curtains which, when fully opened, block 33% of the view.

1st time staying here and I got one of the nicer rooms as a treat. Lovely view of the river and a huge balcony. So fun for people watching and wildlife and boat watching. Lots of choices for food within walking distance. You can even walk and get a pedicure. Nice parking garage. Excellent front desk service, clean room and quiet. Will come again
